Came through on Devil's Night this year and had an absolutely BLAST! This year the configuration is very different than the previous two, and the updates were incredible. I was blown away by all of the actors, and the kid's bedroom got me real good (no spoilers for those who haven't been through)!Everyone who works here should be very proud of themselves. This show is worth every penny. There's something fun to see around every corner, and no detail is spared. 10/10

It was really fun! I loved the haunted house it was soo good! The escape room was fun too and I love the merch! I was scared before I even went in. I appreciate how they pace the haunted house and slow it down at one point to make sure you don't run into the group in front of you!

Awesome as always. This is a yearly haunt for us. Lots of cool things in the gift shop and reasonably priced. Lines were short and the people and creeps were great.

This is my first haunted house since I was a kid. It was a lot of fun and it was very scary.. I went back a second time with a group of friends to look at all the work they put into the decor.. since we ran a lot the first time.. they don’t touch you that’s a plus..they only let a few people in at once so no one is stepping on you… thinking about going back for the Christmas show they are having too! It was worth the money!!

100000/10 Absolutely terrifying! I’m 27 years young a horror movie fanatic and I couldn’t finish and had to get out of there halfway through. WOW I’ll never forget this night it was amazing. Not to mention the friendly, alert, respectful and safety performance from the staff. Incredible!

We visited the Scream Machine last night and I have to say that we had an absolute blast. The timing for our group was extraordinary. The actors went above and beyond what I've ever seen before. All of the scenes were simply top notch.This has to be one of the hardest working crews in the local Detroit area. Would highly recommend going. Keep up the great work. Happy Halloween 🎃🏚️⚡🍁👻 🏴☠️

The BEST haunted house I’ve ever been to I got scared so many times! The actors are AMAZING!! Now it was a little long but even while in line THE ACTORS OUTSIDE CREEPED UP ON YOU!! There was one with a mask that scared me so bad😭WORTH THE WAIT!! Definitely coming back soon!! I’ve never screamed so much 😭 (mind you this is from a person who watches the scariest movies and doesnt flinch) I JUMPED AND SCREAMED

We took our 10 year old here for their first haunted house, and it didnt disappoint! They all got monster repellant glow sticks they could flash when it got a little too scary, snd the monsters reacted amazingly. They also got to do the mini escape room afterwards, and had a blast. So much fun for us adults and the kids! Thank you!

I’ve been to a lot of haunted houses and this was the absolute best for so many reasons! So many unique experiences to be had. I will not spoil any surprises but their half way to Halloween event was spectacular.

The Scream Machine Lights Out event was absolutely terrifying in the best possible way! This wasn’t just a normal haunted experience—it was a full-on psychological assault. With barely any light to guide you, you’re thrown into complete darkness where every step feels like a gamble. The fear of the unknown was constant—you never knew if the figure next to you was a prop or something about to lunge.Not seeing the scares coming made the tension suffocating—in the best way. You’re left vulnerable and exposed, with your senses heightened and your imagination doing half the work. The pacing was phenomenal (we never saw another group), and the actors were ruthless—delivering scares with perfect timing and intensity.We had visited Scream Machine back in 2023, and this year’s experience was even more intense, with clever new twists and unique set additions that were a pleasant surprise. This haunt doesn’t just scare you—it gets under your skin and stays there. We’re already bracing ourselves for whatever nightmares they unleash in the fall of 2025!

Update 2025. I love the sets, I thought they were absolutely fantastic. You really feel like you're in a different setting, every time you walk into a different room, the dialogue was fantastic, as a seasoned actor, It was amazing to see this haunt grow so much. I thought they did a fantastic job and we're very receptive to my comments. thank you scream machine for a great time, we will definitely be back!!

One of the best experiences yet! The details, different themes, and actors definitely match its name. The only thing that's missing are designated cameras to snap the screams to purchase afterward.

Literally one of the best experiences I’ve had in years going to a haunted house. Every actor had their own theme. They had their own miniature story. Nobody As in normal peoplewas running up on top of you and your group everything spaced out perfectly

Best haunted house I’ve ever been to. Jump scares all over and a great cast. They prepped you well and everyone was so much fun. They also did a great job of scheduling a time for you to arrive so that it flowed incredibly smoothly. Props and set design were also great. This place is a must do to fill your spooky tank. Great job Scream Machine.

Definitely with the money. Scary adventure for about 30 minutes. Staff is super nice and actors are scary, but respectful. They didn't touch you you didn't touch them.The only thing is recommend is having a bigger backdrop for the selfie wall. Maybe even consider ring light kit. (Just a thought).

Absolutely a blast. I went on Friday and it was amazing. Props and decor were amazing. Actors were entertaining. Got a lot of good jumps and scares out of me. Definitely gonna come back for black out night. And between us, as someone who worked at Eloise Asylum, this place is better. More actors even though they have less space to work with. Go here instead.Update: I did their blackout night and it was phenomenal. Even better. Actors were entertaining as usual. Got even more scares.

I went through last night and it was a blast! Lots of talented actors popping out from everywhere. It was longer than I expected. It took around 45 min. It has plenty of twists and unexpected turns. I would totally go back!!

Really thought highly of this one. Plenty of good jump scares with quite a lot of actors, easily double than any other we've been to, that were all on their game with their unique characters and interaction. (Made a good friend in "Momma")Each environment's production value was very well done leaving us wishing we could have an hour by ourselves just to check out all the fine details.Very highly recommend

Liked the short wait time, all inside (raining at the time), and pretty good acting.Would have loved it to last longer for the price paid. If it were darker inside, maybe I would have been scared--seemed too bright for a haunted house.

I went last night with my sister and it was far better than anticipated! I ended up loving it. They actually wait like 5 minutes between small groups so you don't run into the one ahead of you. The actors were pretty top tier. I highly recommend it. I've been to several of the well known haunted house attractions around the area over the years, and this is probably my favorite one yet.

I took my 3 daughters here Friday oct. 18th. I paid for my tickets online and had no issue. I scheduled our time for 8:30pm and I think we waited no more than 20 mins. The overall experience was 5 stars. The people, characters and themes were all amazing. I was really quite shocked of how good it is. My daughters are 9,7, and 6. It was super scary to them but there was no profanity and no touching. It was just very intense which I loved. All they have been talking about is how awesome this Haunted house is. It's worth the money and experience so definitely check it out.

i came with a group of 9 and we had an awesome time! we split 5-4 to go in but got a pic all together which was perfect! the set is super immersive and fun. our favorite parts were the elevator, the skull guy who greeted us in the parking lot, the clown rooms, and MAMA!!!! but those are just the ones we can think of off the bat—EVERYTHING was wow! we will definitely be back for the blackout event!

Pleasantly surprised. Im almost impossible to scare so I never base my reviews off that, rather how well the haunt is put together and the enthusiasm of the actors. I wasn't holding my breath bc we were surrounded by mostly young teenagers and I thought this is going to be lame bc its all middle/highschool kids. The actors were great as were all the scenes. Big mama and the elevator were my favorite. Im glad it didn't disappoint and I would drive the 90 mins again next year. We came from Eloise so it was some big shoes to fill and I'm happy I chose this haunt over the others in the area.

First timer. All I can say is WOW! This haunt is awesome. The sets, props, actors, all amazing! Never knew what was going to move or what was a real person. I love how interactive the actors are, they really mess with you when they know you're scared (me). Well worth our two hour drive. My new favorite haunt!

Went last night with some friends for the first time, it was a great haunted house! Actors were so engaged (played their roles very well) & took us about 30 minutes! Great flow of things & we waited at the beginning but it was worth it so that we did not end up running into another group. We will be back in years to come

Great Haunt! The actors, sets, and misdirections were top notch! A bit on the short side though, although bigger than previous years. The escape room we did was fun but not scary. We successfully completed it with only seconds remaining.
